We present organic frankincense hydrolate for supplements, obtained from the plant Boswellia carterii. The product bears the name Frankincense organic hydrolate for supplements. The plantations develop in Bulgaria under an organic cultivation regime that eliminates synthetic agents. The species has its place in the Burseraceae family. The resin remains the only starting material, and in this genus the resin canals fill the inner bark and are most active in the zone next to the cambium. The aromatic profile remains pure thanks to steam distillation, since it excludes solvents and preserves the volatile substances as the original plant resin carries them. The polar oxygen-containing volatile compounds find their place mainly in the aqueous phase of the distillate. It is precisely their share that determines the aromatic direction of the distillate.
